Advent Fair
    A report by Jasmine - Class 3

Christmas comes early to Compton school

On Sunday the 24th November 2008 Compton School had an advent fair and nearly everyone went because they wanted to see SANTA! Santa was very happy to see them. They raised £1,456 pounds for the adventure playground. (He’s gone back to the north pole now so they won’t be seeing him again for a long time.) Here's what Joel aged 7 said “It was a great success and I must congratulate the CSA.

All the children where very glad to see him and Santa was glad to see all of the children! Emilie Gasnier age 8 said “It was fun and I liked class 2 because they had lots of games and it was surprising how much money they raised and I liked the jam jars because they had sweets and toys in as well .

COMPTON CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS

On Sunday the 23rd November Compton school held an advent fair. CSA parents organised it. There were fantastic stalls. We managed to raise £1465 for an adventure playground. The children were amazed when Santa came!.
The stalls were amazing in class 1.   There were making bookmarks, biscuits and lots of other lovely things. In class 3 all the adults were getting tea and coffee and the children were watching a movie. In the hall they had loads of things. Lots of people bought Compton bags. They were only £5.
Loads of people loved seeing Santa and he gave the chidren the most generous presents. All the mums and dads loved doing their Christmas shopping.
Sasha aged (9) said "I loved class 2 and really liked the lucky dip" and jasmine aged(8) said "It was fun and cool especially class 2".
