Pumpkin Week
During the last week of half term we had Pumpkin Week. We used pumpkins to inspire us in literacy and for activites in our numeracy lessons.
We started the week by visiting our vegetable patch and harvesting our pumpkins and courgettes. We were very pleased with how much our pumpkins had grown.
During the week, all classes used their pumpkins to create tasty food. Class 4 made some delicious cheesecakes and class 3 made soup and scones.
Class 2 enjoyed tasting their pumpkin soup.
In Class 1 all the children helped to make a lovely cake that was very pupular with everyone who tried it!
