Our whole school curriculum is based upon the National Curriculum together with Religious Education, Personal and Social Education including Sex Education, Health Education, Citizenship and Collective Worship.
All children are given the opportunity to continue and reinforce thier learning outside school. This involves parents in supporting their children and sharing in the learning process. Homework activities are provided for each class.
Music is an important part of our school with emphasis placed upon listening, making and performing music. A part-time music teacher teaches music and singing across the school and leads a school ensemble. Instrumental lessons are available for interested pupils.
Pupils are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities and experiences across and beyond the curriculum, contributing fully to the life of the school, and wider community. Residential visits form part of the curriculum for Years 5 and 6 and through our School Council, all the children are involved in appropriate decision making within school.
